Wednesdays are for first-timers

We keep Wednesdays free of regular classes so we can run free trial classes and makeup lessons. If you’re new, this is the easiest day to come and try the studio — your child gets a full session rather than joining a class mid-term.

Book a free trial

Come and try a full session before you commit. Classes are capped at 8 students, so message us and we’ll confirm availability and place your child at the right level.

Seat availability changes weekly — message us for the current position.

After school activities in Thao Dien

Quantum Makers Studio runs hands-on robotics and STEM classes in Thao Dien, District 2, with weekday after-school sessions and weekend classes for children aged 5 to 15. Students work with real tools, real electronics and real materials — woodworking, circuits, 3D printing, and text-based code — rather than snap-together kits.

Do you run after-school classes during the week?

Yes. Weekday sessions run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 3:00 PM onwards, timed to fit around the international school day in District 2. Wednesdays are kept free for trial classes and makeup lessons.

Which classes run on Saturdays and Sundays?

Most of our schedule is at the weekend. Saturday kids classes in District 2 run from 9:30 AM to 5:45 PM, and Sunday sessions run from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, covering every level from Young Maker through to our teens classes. Full times are listed in the schedule above.

Can we try a class before enrolling?

Yes — we offer a free trial robotics class for anyone new to the studio. Trials run on Wednesdays, so your child gets a full session with our undivided attention rather than joining a class mid-term. Message us on WhatsApp to book a time.

Do you run 3D printing classes for kids?

We do. Our 3D printing classes for kids teach CAD modelling in Tinkercad before students design and print functional parts for their own inventions — not decorative models, but parts that have to fit, work and survive being used. It’s Class 3 of the Beginner level, and it runs several times a week.

Do you offer an entrepreneurship class for kids?

Yes. Our entrepreneurship class for kids in HCMC runs on Tuesday afternoons and is open to ages 9 to 15. Students find a real problem worth solving, design and build a product, brand it, and sell it to real customers at a Market Day in the final week of term.

What ages do you teach?

Ages 5 to 15. Young Maker covers 5 to 7, the Beginner level covers 8 to 15, and we run separate teens sessions for students aged 12 and over so age groups stay close together.

How much do classes cost?

Every class costs 7,000,000 VND for a 12-week term, whichever programme or level your child joins. That covers all materials, and class sizes are capped at 8 students.

Where are you located?

Our makerspace is in Thao Dien, Thu Duc City — formerly District 2 — a short drive from most international schools in the area.
